Senator Stabenow Statement on Recent Anti-Israel Report

U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow issued the following statement on a recent anti-Israel report.

“Labeling Israel an apartheid state is a setback for peace and not consistent with U.S. policy. Israel is one of our strongest allies and this kind of rhetoric fosters anti-semitism and does nothing to move us forward in the peace process. I remain a strong supporter of Israel and am deeply committed to US policy that encourages the development of a two-state solution, in which Israelis and Palestinians can live in peace and dignity.”
