Senator Stabenow Statement on Passing of Connie Binsfeld, Former Lieutenant Governor of Michigan

U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow issued the following statement today on the passing of former Michigan Lieutenant Governor Connie Binsfeld:

"Connie was an inspiration for women across Michigan, breaking down barriers and fighting for important causes. She was a champion for children's and women's issues and worked tirelessly to pass laws against domestic violence and child abuse. I am proud to have served with her when I was in the State legislature. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends."
